Best software, the makers of Timeslips, has a special promotional price for their upcoming V11 upgrade and has announced ending technical support in the next few months on version 8, 9.0 and 9.1. Overall, there are very few changes from Timeslips version 10.5 to 11. For firms already using the current V10.5 Sr3, review the new features described below to determine whether the changes enhance the way you already do business.

New Features with Version 11

For firms using earlier versions, you have two options at this time: buy Timeslips version 11 at the promotional price or purchase version 10.5. The discounts offered on Timeslips version 11, which range from $60 to $250 have been extended. Support for version 8 ends on August 31st, 2002 and V9 in late fall. We strongly recommend purchasing Timeslips version 11 at the promotional price and upgrading shortly before support ends to ensure adequate assistance should any problems arise.

If you have been running the current version 10.5 Sr3 with minimal problems and haven’t needed any of the newer features, you may still want to take advantage of the discounted price for version 11 but continue to use your current version until the first round of upgrades have taken place. You will want to carefully plan your upgrade so that it doesn’t cause upheaval in your office and done with a timetable that you can control.

Conversions are a good time to re-examine how you have been doing your billing. Depending on how you have used Timeslips, you may find, with a little clean up, that the newer version can streamline your billing process better.
